Allegra Dunning is a 9-year-old singer-songwriter from the Blue Mountains. She sings acapella and plays guitar and sings as a busker, is in a variety of choirs, including her school choir who performed at the Sydney Opera House. She performs a mix of covers and originals. Her influences include Elvis, Radiohead, The Doors, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, 21 Pilots and The Cranberries. She writes songs about her friends and also things we fear like what we can’t see in the dark. She wants to be a professional musician and is keen to play at live gigs whenever she can to develop and improve her performance.
She is a 10 Year Americana Folk Singer Song Writer that loves Rockabilly from The Blue Mountains, NSW. Allegra performs a mix of originals and rearranged covers. Allegra writes songs about experiences, emotions and things we fear, with a distinctive Americana/Folk feel. She performs with her trusty guitar, yet plays Drums, Piano and Ukulele. Allegra has a love for Rockabilly and that had her win the 2018 Little Miss Lady Luck title.
Allegra has performed at numerous festivals, fetes, concerts in her short years and this has included a performance live on radio where she performed her breathtaking original, My Bones and just recently on Sunrise Channel 7 performing her original Best Friends.
On weekends if Allegra is not performing, she enjoys busking locally .Once whilst busking to save for a guitar, a local Business Owner (Brad, from Brad’s Guitar Garage in Mt Riverview) noted her effort and gifted her a customised guitar!
Her goal is to perform her music far and wide and she has been booked for several performances into 2019 including an invitations to perform internationally.
